Alert Notifications for HIPAA Compliant Messages and Documents

We’re embarking on a huge programming enhancement to keep you and your patients / clients more engaged than ever.  One of the small but very significant feature upgrades that we’re releasing this week is the new messages notification badge in the site navigation and alerts by email when you receive a new document as a patient or provider.  Let’s take a look.

New Message Notifications Badges

Got messages?  Previously, BodySite would send you an email, text or push notification when you received a message from your patient (or your provider as the case may be).  But once you log in, it’s easy to forget things like that or who messaged you.  Problem solved. We now show a counter message badge notification for you (and for your patients) indicating a new message or messages until you go to your messages page.

And when you click on your messages icon, if you have multiple conversations, you’ll find the conversations with new messages on top with New Message badges until you open and read the messages.

New Documents Notifications Badges and Email Alerts

This is completely new.  Previously, you would not receive an email you letting you know you have received a new document.  Now your practice and your patient will automatically receive an email alerting you that you’ve received a new document.

And when a patient logs in there will be a notification on the navigation indicating that they have a new document from you . . .

And an indication on the documents page that there is a new document . . .

And if you don’t want notifications about new documents, just unsubscribe right from the notification email or turn off notifications in your account settings from a computer under Settings > Notification Settings.

Keep an eye out for tons of new optional notifications, alerts, badges and engagements on the BodySite platform, such as checking off past tasks and our integration with Oura Ring. You’re going to love it!
