BodySite is Now Offering Dispensary Integration with Wellevate

The BodySite Remote Care Platform is Now Integrated with Wellevate by Emerson Ecologics, a Professional-Grade Supplement Dispensary

BodySite is excited to announce today its integration with Wellevate by Emerson Ecologics. Wellevate is equipped with dozens of professional-grade supplement brands including exclusive brand partners such as Metagenics, Thorne and Ortho Molecular.

BodySite exists to empower health care professionals to provide better care through remote care, and we believe that starts with lifestyle guidance but we know that supplements also play a huge role in lifestyle change for patients.

As part of our mission we want to give our providers a one-stop-shop for remote patient care between office visits. This includes the ability to prescribe and supply supplements to patients all within the BodySite platform through use of one of the largest online dispensaries in the field.

According to the National Institutes of Health, while supplements should not replace the variety of foods that are important to a healthy diet, dietary supplements can help patients get adequate amounts of essential nutrients that may improve overall health and even help with some health conditions (1).

Often times patients seek to utilize supplements and/or go it alone when it comes to making lifestyle changes but healthcare provider expertise should not be discounted so easily.

In an expert study to determine changes in weight over 5 years for obese adult participants enrolled in a behaviorally based, medically supervised weight management program between April 1, 2007, and December 31, 2014, it was found that participants were able to experience clinically significant weight loss (2).

Research shows that provider implemented care programs are in fact effective, which is why our Wellevate dispensary integration is a great way for providers to ensure their patients use of supplements is simple, successful and safely monitored in conjunction with their wellness protocol.

By combining supplement protocol recommendations with BodySite’s easy-to-follow lifestyle programs, you can equip your patients with the tools to reach their health goals, improve overall health, and help with the symptoms of some health conditions like diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and others.

Using Wellevate, you can share personalized product recommendations with your patients. With the BodySite + Wellevate integration, you can build supplement recommendations and enroll patients into lifestyle programs all on the same platform. So, instead of having to navigate between two platforms, you can do it all in one place, saving you time.

On the BodySite remote care platform, you can access a variety of features including:

  • Turnkey toolkits for weight management, gut health and other programs
  • A library of over 60 care programs
  • Patient meal/food tracker
  • Patient activity and biometric data tracker
  • Patient communication messages center
  • Device integrations such as Fitbit, Apple Health and Innotech
  • Telemedicine Virtual Clinic and other remote patient care features
  • And now, the Wellevate dispensary
