BodySite, via our strategic collaboration with Compass Total Wellness, is now offering a unique method to streamline GLP-1 medication delivery for your patients; included in this plan your patients will receive their monthly medication in a unique auto-inject pen delivery system, bypassing the need to draw medication from a vial into a syringe to inject. This solution is available in the Compounded Semaglutide CTW Plan on BodySite and is only made available to patients if you specifically enroll them into this plan.
Weekly injections become simple and comfortable to self-administer, with printed and video instructions provided. Patients shall consult with a prescribing physician fully licensed within their state, place their order, and have their meds prescribed and delivered to their door in 2-3 days; all future orders are automated, including shipment and an included consult with a prescribing physician at the time of re-order.
Your practice receives all program charges – this includes payment for the plan (readily available on BodySite), access to BodySite, your coaching, and remote monitoring. To Get Started
1. Copy the plan titled Compounded Semaglutide CTW Plan into the My Plans library on BodySite. This plan already has the link for patients to order the medication seamlessly embedded into day 1 of the plan.
2. Market your NEW weight loss plan
3. Direct patients to purchase the medication from the link on Day 1, which includes a patient history questionnaire and physician consult. Injections begin on Day 5 of the plan, to allow for prescription and delivery of meds, with user-friendly guidance in document and video format

What is the cost to the patient?
The cost is $399 per month which includes a month’s supply of medication paid directly to Compass Total Wellness. The cost does not increase as the dosage increases. It remains flat throughout. The first order will include 2 months of medication but as a courtesy to patients, the cost is split into 2 payments 30 days apart ($399 each), which will occur automatically.
The shipments of medication and consults with a prescribing physician for each order are automated once patients go through the process at the link in the plan to place their first order. You will still render your usual care to patients.
How will FDA shortage regulations affect this?
These medications are compounded by a 503B FDA approved outsourcing facility and utilize formulations that are not considered “exact copies” of the patented products.
The FDA has issued guidance preventing the compounding of exact copies of GLP-1 drugs, with some of these restrictions due to take effect over the next 30-60 days. These medications are not on the shortage list as they are not “exact copies.” If you have any further questions about this, please contact Dr. Eric Kusher.
If I’m a prescriber, how would this benefit me?
If you’re already prescribing GLP-1 meds, this could be a more efficient way to make them available to patients. If you still wish to self-prescribe, but you’ve been looking for a reliable source for GLP-1 and/or a pre-filled pen system, you can submit prescriptions directly to Compass Total Wellness’ pharmacy for fulfillment, which is not affected by the FDA shortage regulations. If you already have a reliable system and aren’t interested in pivoting, that is fine. This third-party solution is completely optional.
Is this solution being marketed to my patients?
No. BodySite is a platform that serves the practitioner. We do not sell or market anything to patients. If you want to use the Compass Total Wellness GLP-1 solution described on this page where they handle the consults, prescribing, and fulfillment, you can offer your patients this option by enrolling them into the Compounded Semaglutide CTW plan available under Content > Plans > Available Plans & Templates.
CTW, like BodySite, will not contact any provider’s patients. Their only interest lies in the provision of the med system for providers who need a way to offer GLP-1 medication.
What if I self-prescribe but want to use this pen system?
You can continue to prescribe GLP-1 medications without sending your patients through the comprehensive system offered via Compass Total Wellness. You will still render your usual care to the patient, prescribe the meds, and simply e-prescribe via your EHR or fax to the Compass Total Wellness pharmacy. The prescription must be paid for by the provider at the time of submission. Your cost would be $290 per pen (you may then charge your patient any amount you choose), at which time the order will be filled and drop-shipped to your patient’s home. The first order will last for 2 months so you will only pay $145 monthly for the initial 2-month pen, then $290 every month thereafter. How do I profit from this solution?
Patients pay Compass Total Wellness for the medication directly (unless you choose to self-prescribe through their pharmacy). For your profit, consider charging a monthly fee that includes access to the plan readily available on BodySite and coaching with your team. Other clinics are charging an upfront fee of $600 (or $999 when it includes the medication) and then $100 monthly for ongoing support (or $499 when it includes the medication).
