The Rainbow Diet Reset for Colorful Patient Education
What is the 14 Day Rainbow Diet Reset?
The basis of this educational Rainbow Diet plan is not for your patients to learn how to limit calories, carbs, or certain types of food, but to instead teach them the benefits of being inclusive of all sorts of colorful fruits and vegetables. Even though it’s not a secret that fruits and vegetables are good for overall health, a 14 day reset is useful to remind your patients of the benefits they can experience from fruits/vegetables as well as ways to include them in their everyday diet.
Fruits and vegetables are a great source of vitamins, minerals, and plant chemicals that are extremely beneficial for overall health. Since it’s quite easy to forget to eat a sufficient amount of the rainbow, your patients will be educated on how to consistently be inclusive of all sorts of colorful fruits and vegetables as well as the benefits throughout this plan. The 14 Day Rainbow Diet Reset encourages incorporating 2-3 different-colored fruits or vegetables at every meal and at least 1 at every snack.
What Foods Are Involved in This Plan?
All the different colors of fruits and vegetables contain different phytonutrients with different functions that provide numerous health benefits. This plan will involve each color of fruit and vegetable: red, orange, yellow, green, and purple-blue. Here’s a small summary of the colors and their benefits:

What’s Inside the Plan?
Guiding your patients through new eating habits and lifestyles can be difficult, and it can definitely be a chore to collect all of the needed information. Fortunately, their program will provide them with daily recipe ideas, snack ideas, and education in order to help them with their 14 Day Rainbow Diet Reset. This way, they can maintain their colorful eating habits even after the 14 days are up.
Each day, their program will start with some education on a certain color of fruit or vegetable. It will also provide them with a list of fruits or vegetables that fall underneath that category. Patients can take in the information provided and use it throughout their daily lives.
Their daily education is then followed by a recipe idea that incorporates that specific color of fruit or vegetable into the meal. Your patients aren’t required to make the recipe; they can either use it, change it to fit their needs, or save it for later if they want. After the recipe idea, there is also a snack idea provided for them that also incorporates the color of the day. Once again, these are not required for your patients to make; they are simply there for your patients to use if desired!
