How to Generate Revenue with BodySite

Here are some proven revenue-generating models that have been successful for our network of BodySite providers…

Charging for Plans on BodySite 

One of the simpler ways to generate revenue on BodySite is to charge patients for access to a specific plan or general access to the BodySite platform. BodySite provides your patients with a myriad of ways to track progress and interact with you and your care team as well as a care program that is right for them, making it a high-value tool for your patients and clients.

Many patients are already paying for consumer-facing software/programs that advise them on how to improve their health and/or track their progress, many of which are integrated with BodySite. Wouldn’t it be better for your team to advise your patients and clients rather than a third-party? 

With the BodySite software, you get access to over 80 care plan templates, but you can also customize the programs or you can create a program entirely from scratch. Not to mention, your BodySite platform is privately labeled, so when patients log in to their account, they will encounter your logo and your practice’s brand.

Charging for plans and creating plan subscriptions is easy. To set a price for a plan, do the following…

  1. Head to the Plans library,
  2. Choose which plan you’d like to charge for by simply clicking on it
  3. Click “Sell to Patients.” 

Once you select this option, you can choose the price and set it to be one-time or monthly. To change the price to monthly, simply click the “One Time” dropdown. If you choose for the payment to be monthly, the subscription runs for the length of the program. For example, you might mark the Weight Loss Roadmap for $100 monthly. Because it’s a 3-month program, the subscription would run for 3 months making it $300 total. Subscriptions by default are auto-payments so there’s nothing manually you need to do or that your patients need to do month over month in order for them to pay!

Many providers use plan subscriptions for high-value programs. One BodySite practitioner uses subscriptions so her clients can pay for her year-long VIP program complete with robust educational videos, resources and more that her team has created for the specific condition they treat in their practice.

Once you and your patients are enrolled in BodySite, your office can begin generating revenue using Boxed Care Solutions in a few easy steps…

Step 1: Place your boxed care solutions order on https://bodysite.myshopify.com

Step 2: Assign your patients a corresponding care program. (For example, we recommend combing the Weight Loss in a Box with the Weight Loss Roadmap program. However, there are many plans to choose from, and you can prescribe any box with whichever program works best for your patient.)

Step 3: The box will be delivered to either your office or your patient’s home, depending on what you choose during checkout.

Step 4: Patients will follow the instructions provided in their box, along with the care program assigned to them on BodySite

Step 5: Track their progress in real time as the connected health devices included in the boxes send the data directly to BodySite

Many clinics are now using Boxed Care Solutions in their practice to augment their care plans and to provide an easy way for patients to self-report data and biometrics.   • Access to the BodySite Remote Patient Care System + a program
  • X Number of Coaching Calls or Telemedicine Visits 
  • X Group Visits Per Month
  • X Treatments in-office Per Month (for example, if you do any type of Chiropractic treatments, you might include those in your package)

This package can be customized to fit whatever offerings are currently working for you and your patients. Use this to build revenue and provide even more value to your patients.

Charging for Telemedicine Visits

In addition to any of the methods mentioned above, providers are also able to charge for telemedicine visits inside the BodySite Virtual Clinic.

To charge different fees for every event type, do the following:

  1. Open the Virtual Clinic inside of BodySite 
  1. Click on Manage Visit Pricing, near the bottom of the page. (Note: In order to use this feature, you will need to set up a Stripe account on BodySite. If you haven’t done that yet, first go to Settings > Platform Settings and connect a Stripe account to BodySite).
  1. Click on +New Visit Price. You can choose a label and a price for your visit price. (Note: You CAN create a visit price that’s $0 if you’re going to be offering free visits for some event types). Select Save+Create Price.
  1. Click on Manage Scheduling (Note: In order to see this option, you will have needed to add your calendar to your Virtual Clinic. If you haven’t done that yet, you can follow the steps outlined at this link to set up your calendar and scheduling system).
  1. Under any event types listed, you can click the pencil icon to the right of the price listed. A dropdown will appear with all of your visit price options. Choose your price and click Save to save your choice.
