Does The Withings Blood Pressure Monitor Integrate with BodySite?
Yes! We’ll discuss what these technologies are, how their integration works and the benefits of utilizing these solutions together.
The Withings Blood Pressure Monitor
Withings creates stylish, functional and powerful connected health devices for consumers, including their smart blood pressure monitors. The Withings blood pressure monitor allows patients to check their blood pressure anywhere. All that is needed is a WiFi connection or bluetooth and a device that can access the Healthmate app.
This is great tool for patients who are seeking to monitor their blood pressure regularly, including those with cardiovascular disease or other chronic conditions related to blood pressure monitoring. Giving patients the freedom to monitor from home, and the ability to share this information with their healthcare provider.
BodySite
BodySite is an automated patient education platform that allows providers to conduct a wide variety of practice management and remote patient monitoring tools such as their…
- Private labeled web portal for both provider and patient
- Daily patient education plans (customizable or ready-for-use)
- HIPAA Compliant Telemedicine Visits (1-on-1 and Group Visits)
- Comprehensive Patient Progress Summaries
- Intake Forms and Questionnaire Builder
- Food, Body and Activity Tracking
With BodySite providers can automate patient care and education. Meaning, they can assign a care plan to their patient’s account that is administered automatically every day. Inside of the patient’s portal they can also track their food, activity and biometrics while the provider monitors their progress.
Providers can also communicate with their patients through HIPAA compliant messaging and telemedicine visits. Thus, creating a full patient to provider loop.
Why Should Providers Pair The Withings Blood Pressure Monitor with BodySite?
By pairing the Withings blood pressure monitor with BodySite patients and providers can enjoy the convenience of patient data automatically uploading inside of the patient’s account, rather than manually tracking data.
This creates a fully automated environment for the doctor and the patient. The patient receives their automated care plan every day and any time they use their blood pressure monitor that information is also instantly stored inside their BodySite account.
Providers can then use this biometric data to evaluate patient progress and make recommendations relating to their care plan.

Leveraging Patients’ Connected Health Device Data
In a study conducted regarding use of connected health devices they determined that “30% of US adults use wearable health care devices. Among the users, nearly half (47.33%) use the devices every day, with a majority (82.38% weighted) willing to share the health data from wearables with their care providers.”
From this we can observe two facts…
- There’s a sizable and growing base of connected health device users who are willing to share their information with their provider
- This information can give providers a greater understanding of a patient’s condition and therefore allow them to tailor a patient’s care according to these metrics
Patients don’t always know how to effectively interpret the data that is given to them by these devices. But, when providers are given access to this data something incredible happens: patients are given real time professional advice based on their hyper-relevant biometric data.
By pairing BodySite education and communication resources with biometric data from connected devices such as the Withings blood pressure monitor, providers can improve outcomes for their patients.
