Encounter Notes For More Efficient Patient Charting and Documentation

BodySite is excited to launch Encounter Notes, a completely new upgrade of our Provider Notes feature. You now have the ability to create note templates and then use those templates over and over again when charting in patient records.

To start creating note templates, go to Libraries > Notes > Encounter Note Templates from your account, enter a title for the template, and select “Create New Note Template.” You can add anything you’d like to the note template.

You’ll have access to your note templates when charting inside your patient records. Open a patient account, click on Encounters/Notes, and use the “Select Template” dropdown to access your templates. Once you choose a template, you can edit the body of the note. Make sure to click save to successfully add the note to the patient’s record. If you don’t need to use a template, you can simply start typing your note in the text box.

In addition to our new note templates feature, you can also go back and edit previously created patient notes, create a title for your notes, use formatted text and create paragraph breaks in your notes. Notes will include the creator’s name and still include the date and time stamp, just like before.
